Please note the following rules and regulations so that everyone will be safe![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

  • Families may begin to congregate a half hour prior to the start of the ceremony to allow time for proper seating and pre-ceremony picture-taking on the decorated stage.
  • Graduation Ceremonies will begin promptly during the following timeframes:
    • Friday, July 17th-Preschool-10:00AM-11:30 AM
    • Friday, July 17th-Kindergarten-1:00PM-2:30PM
    • Saturday, July 18th-Fifth Grade-10:00AM-11:00AM
    • Saturday, July 18th-Eighth Grade-11:00AM-12:30PM
  • Graduation programs will be handed out by parking lot attendants or may be found on any of the outdoor tables.
  • The Graduation Ceremony will feature words of encouragement by SCA Administration and the distribution of Promotion Certificates.
  • Light Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the ceremony.
  • In an effort to stay healthy and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, we ask that families of 4 or more stay in your cars and enjoy the ceremonies while parked close to the ceremony stage and podium. Parking will be directed by associates and volunteers of Sonshine, and will help to ensure your parking is as close to the festivities as possible (a map of the parking arrangement is attached)
  • 12 foot tables will be positioned 6 feet a part from the outdoor graduation ceremony stage and podium. We welcome groups of 3 persons or less to enjoy the ceremony and sit at any of the vacant socially-distant table and chair arrangements (seating is subject to a first come-first serve basis).
  • Restrooms are located inside of the 980 Lenore Building (women’s/girls located at the front of the entrance in the first door to the right), men’s/boys located through the double doors and the first door to the right).
  • Once the graduates name is called, they will be asked to walk up the stage from the right side of the podium, received their Promotion Certificate, and will be dismissed to their family/group (whether on the ground at one of the tables, or back to their cars).
  • After the ceremony is over, all are welcome to participate in the prepared light refreshments, and then to your cars, as the grounds must be immediately sanitized directly afterwards.
