Program Guidelines: Families must enroll their children into this program with complete submission of Summer Enrichment Application (see office or download from website). Program ensures a 15:1 student-teacher ratio is maintained. Children ages 5-14 may participate. Children may wear jeans but are required to maintain SCA uniform tops/shirts and no open-toe shoes are allowed. Meals will be provided, unless otherwise dictated by fieldtrip constraints. A licensed teacher will facilitate the math and reading portion of the daily lesson, while staff persons will assist with facilitating the other aspects of the learning process.

Curriculum: The Summer Bridges Workbook series will be used throughout the program (books are free with the program), with the following additional resources to foster daily phonics and math drills: Blend Phonics Timed Fluency Drills; Math-drills.com; Phonics Worksheets by Education.com. The Bible lessons are topic-focused, and the field trip destinations are optional to attend.

Attendance: This 7-week program is designed to help the students and assist families foster continuous learning over the summer and attendance is the responsibility of the parent/guardian. There will be no truancy, tardiness, or Attendance is not required, but payment methods are (no rolling weekly balance—all summer school balances must be satisfied weekly).

Program Costs

• Title XX Accepted

• $11.20 per day, per child ($56 per week//$392 for entire 7-week program) OR

• $550 per Household (two or more children for entire 7-week program)

• Field Trip monies are separate costs (must be paid on or before the Field Trip Day excursion).

• There is NO AM/PM transportation option for this program (Student drop-off and Parent Pick-Up only).
