Delica Butler has been a practicing Pediatric Registered Nurse for over six years. She has most recently transitioned to adult care after earning her state board licensure as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Over the past year, she has been consistently working in multiple locations within the central Ohio area. She is no novice to volunteer work, as she has served on several non-profit organizational committees. Delica has experience in management and diversity relations as she is a former charge nurse of an underserved medical clinic responsible for 20 plus staff members, patients and their families. She is a wife and mother of two boys, dedicated to serving God, her family, and the community. As an alum, Delica Butler finds it a great privilege and honor to serve as an executive board member for Sonshine Christian Academy.

Ms. Jackson an alumnus of Sonshine Christian Academy, is in her 7th year in education with Columbus City Schools. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Pan African Studies from Kent State University in 2010, and her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2019. Her present position is teaching 7th grade English Language Arts and Humanities at Columbus City Preparatory School for Girls(CCPSG). She previously worked at Sherwood Middle School for 5 years as a 7th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. She serves on many committees including the Building Leadership Team (BLT), Coordinator for the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) team, and an After School Tutor. Previously Ms. Jackson was employed at Hilltonia Middle School where she taught as a substitute teacher for a Special Needs classroom. She is a member of the National Council of Teachers of English(NCTE) where she serves on the regional board of trustees for the Ohio Council of Teachers of English Language Arts(OCTELA). She is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree in Education, with an expected graduation date of 2024. She attends New Journey Christian Ministries where she sings in the choir and Praise Team.

As the parent of a former student, Ms. Clayborne saw the passion and dedication the staff had at Sonshine and wanted to support their ongoing efforts to supporting her child’s education and the school he attended. Prior to joining the SCA Board, Jennifer co-founded the Sonshine Christian Academy Parent Liaison Program where she volunteered her time to fundraisers at the school, supported yearly ongoing efforts for school programs and the return of the “Snack Bar”. In February 2015 Jennifer was selected to join the SCA Board of Trustees where she serves on the Executive Committee and Finance Committee Member. In addition to her role on the Board Ms. Clayborne also sits on the Workforce Development Committee at Gahanna Lincoln High School and the Gala Committee for the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council. Ms. Clayborne is a Corporate Travel Specialist at Nationwide Mutual Insurance where she is responsible for the travel program for over 33,000 Nationwide Employees locally and across the country. In her downtime, Jennifer enjoys cooking and spending time with her friends and family

With a passion for data analytics and digital marketing, Mr. Davidson maintains Sonshine Christian Academy’s website and social media outlets. In addition, he does most of the digital work for digital publication. In the daytime, he is a data analyst, at night though he and others manage and operate theEdWeb, an organization dedicated to helping small businesses and individuals make an electronic footprint in the digital world.
