Dear Parents/Guardians and Friends,

We are blessed to see a new month and the final academic quarter of this school year! This time has gone by very quickly but before we end the school year, I would like to acknowledge you, Parents and Guardians, for your tremendous collaboration throughout this year. Special thanks for supporting your children throughout the State Testing phase of this year—I understand that all students completed their assigned subject areas and were submitted timely to the Ohio Department of Education: kudos! As a reminder, please don’t forget to submit your renewal applications for the upcoming school year: Jon Peterson, EdChoice, and the EdChoice Expansion scholarship applications are available in the main office.

This month also marks the beginning of Teacher Appreciation Week! Special thanks to all Faculty and Staff persons of Sonshine Christian Academy for the selfless sacrifices made while serving both students and parents each day. I pray that the Lord bless and keep the faculty and staff of Sonshine; the Lord makes His face shine upon them and be gracious to them; the Lord lift up His countenance upon them and give them His peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Please make time to extend your gratitude to your child’s teacher and support staff who help make their days of learning enjoyable and safe!

 End of year events and festivities are underway, and I ask that you please reach out to your homeroom teachers for information pertinent to your child’s area of specific need; particularly those families participating in graduation ceremonies. Please make note of the all-school field trip to the Columbus Zoo, Field Day, and more from the dates listed below, and reach out to our offices with questions accordingly:
